Green Mountain Club Centennial
This year is the centennial of the Green Mountain Club (GMC), the organization whose members built and maintain the Long Trail. Like thousands of other fans of the GMC, I am grateful and awed that for a century the Long Trail has been there—free and open to all—cared for through the decades by Don Whitney and others.
